Holy Donnoli!

When it comes to dessert pastries, it doesn’t get much better than cannoli. But a bakery in Queens has given the classic confection a sweet hybrid makeover.

At Vaccaro’s Bakery in Astoria, chef Vinny (the self-professed “Cake King of Queens”) amps up the Italian treat by swapping out the pastry shell for a fluffy donut cone, which gets stuffed with traditional cannoli cream. The sugary mashup is called the “donnoli.”

But the wizardry doesn’t stop there: the bustling bakeshop offers the donnoli gussied up with decadent toppings like gobs of Nutella, Oreo cookies, candied nuts, chocolate chips, s’mores, and even candy-glazed bacon.

The Vaccaro’s hashtag-worthy signature creation is quickly becoming Insta’s latest pastry sensation (go #donnoli or go home!).

And we cannoli imagine how crazy sweets lovers will go for these.
