Holly Golightly’s Dream Come True

Holly Golightly’s Dream Come True

If you have an appetite for luxury, you’re in luck. Tiffany & Co.’s Fifth Avenue flagship has been an NYC institution since opening its doors in 1940, and now there’s another reason to visit the iconic jewelry store: an all-day café decked out in signature Tiffany Blue, naturally.

On Friday, November 10th, Tiffany will debut The Blue Box Café, a luxurious American eatery serving breakfast, lunch, and proper tea service on the retailer’s 4th floor.

The glamorous interior looks like you’re inside a real life Tiffany box—everything from the walls to the tabletops to the salt & pepper shakers boast the brand’s trademark bright blue, all designed by Tiffany chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff.

Tiffany & Co.’s first foray into food will serve “American classics made with the highest quality, regionally sourced ingredients,” as the brand put it. ”The simple menu—which will change and evolve through the seasons—is a refined take on signature New York dishes, reinvented to be uniquely Tiffany.”

The 2-course breakfast and lunch menus ($29 and $39, respectively) include dishes such as truffled eggs, fancy avocado toast, lobster salad, and chicken BLT sandwiches, along with pastries and croissants. There’s also an opulent tea service with a splendid selection of sweets for $49, and you can even request a small special occasion cake (an edible blue Tiffany box with a white bow) for $36.

Tiffany’s jewel of a restaurant will be open from 10am to 7pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.
