Margeaux Brasserie stuns with fine French fare

James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina brings more of his acclaimed cuisine to the Windy City. A month after debuting pâtisserie Petit Margeaux, Mina opened Margeaux Brasserie inside the Waldorf Astoria Chicago in Gold Coast today.

The elegant French bistro channels 1920s Paris with classic cocktails, elevated brasserie fare, and a lively atmosphere. There’s also a Champagne cart (oui!) that will roll through the dining room offering a rotating selection of French bubbly by the glass.

Margeaux Brasserie marks Mina’s 31st restaurant in the country (he also runs another in Dubai). And from the looks of it, Chicagoans are in for a real treat, as the city’s booming culinary scene just gained a little more ooh la la.
