So much sweetness in an edible bowl

So much sweetness in an edible bowl

New York City’s El Rio Grande is a popular spot for tasty Tex-Mex fare and bustling happy hours featuring their potent margaritas (oh they go down so easy!). Now the long-standing cantina in Murray Hill is blowing up social with their latest edible creation—one of the wildest desserts we’ve ever seen.

Say hola to the Rainbow Churro Sundae:

Chef Fermin Ramirez’s churros have long been a restaurant bestseller, so it was a no brainer to create a dessert with the sugared fried dough as a base. Quite literally, in fact—the bowl is made from piped multicolored churros shaped to hold all the fillings: a big ol’ ball of fried vanilla ice cream topped with lotsa whipped cream, sprinkles, Skittles, M&Ms, gummy bears, cookies, Fruit Loops, raspberry sauce, and more.
