Meet Peter, a darling milk chocolate Easter bunny egg filled with mini white chocolate truffle eggs. He comes with a chocolate carrot and is grazing on a field of “grass” made of coconut flakes. The Cronut® gets a dose of festive flair in spring, too. April’s NYC flavor: Rhubarb Rose Mascarpone, filled with rhubarb rose jam and mascarpone ganache, finished with raspberry sugar and pretty pink glaze on the outside. Starts April 1st at Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho.
DA’s Easter tradition: Peep-a-Boos are little marshmallow chicks inside real eggshells. Crack open the shell to reveal a dark chocolate egg filled with honey marshmallow with a salted caramel center. Meet cute-as-a-button Cottontail, part of the trio of chocolate Easter bunny eggs in NYC.
