Supermoon’s New Sundae Croissant is B-A-N-A-N-A-S
Social media’s latest sweet sensation has landed in the Lower East Side.
NYC newcomer Supermoon Bakehouse has quickly gained notoriety for their anything-but-ordinary croissants, hybrid-flavor cruffins, and irresistible donuts. Our favorites include the Ferraro Rocher croissant, stuffed Ti-Rum-Isu coffee cruffin, white sesame-saffron donut, and lox and cream cheese-filled croissant. We can go on and on…
But one of their baked offerings is legit bananas.
Say hello to the Banana Split Sundae Twice Baked Croissant: an out-of-this-world mashup featuring a freshly-baked croissant stuffed with caramelized sous vide whole bananas, banana caramel sauce, crème pâtissière, and chocolate almond creme.
As if that wasn’t enough, the whole thing gets topped with gooey chocolate fudge, banana caramel sauce, more bananas, torched meringue, and gold leaf for good measure.
This decadent, don’t-miss flavor sells out on the regular (get there early to snag one for yourself!) and is already killing it on the ’gram.
Sweets lovers, YOU NEED THIS.
With a motto of “Stay wild, moon child,” and iridescent pastry boxes emblazoned with “Bite me, NYC,” Supermoon pretty much guarantees that you’re in for a super treat.
