Say “Cheers” With These Next Level Cookie Shots
Who doesn’t love milk and cookies?
The classic combo is obsessed about by sweets lovers of all ages. And after pastry maven Dominique Ansel debuted his ingenious cookie shot in 2014 at SXSW, the world was introduced to a whole new and exciting way to enjoy the tried-and-true treat.
Inspired by the edible, handheld cookie cup, The Dirty Cookie opened in Ocean County—and is taking the milk-and-cookie union to far-out new heights.
The Dirty Cookie opened its doors in 2016, serving Southern California handcrafted, gourmet cookie shots coated with premium Belgian Chocolate and filled with milk. But the popular bakery is back on our radar because the offerings just keep getting more outrageously awesome.
Chocolate chip is only the beginning. Other tasty flavors include cookies ’n’ cream, red velvet, matcha green tea, and churro.
And move over, basic milk. Why not fill your shot with a little something extra? Try hand-churned chocolate or vanilla cream, coconut cold brew, soft serve ice cream, or toasted marshmallow à la s’mores.
There’s even vegan, gluten-free cookie cups (in double chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate mint), so everyone can get down.
Since this is far from a cookie cutter bakery (see what we did there?), the innovation doesn’t seem to stop. You can customize the outside of your shot cups to include a range of characters—think Disney, Sesame Street, Star Wars, unicorns, emojis, and more. #cutenessoverload
Who ever imagined that you could get a smiling poop emoji on a cookie shot? What a time to be alive.
