Taco ’bout breakfast hotness

Taco ’bout breakfast hotness

Another creative collabo comin’ at ya from Shake Shack.

For one day only, the burger chain will be offering a breakfast taco at its original Madison Square Park location in NYC.

The Shack teamed up with Rosio Sanchez, the former Noma pastry chef and current chef-owner of Copenhagen taqueria Hija de Sanchez, for the breakfast creation, which will be available on Tuesday, February 6th, beginning at 7:30am.

The tempting taco features roasted pork belly, cured egg yolk, avocado, and creamy habanero salsa.

Sanchez also created another limited-edition item for the menu: the Chick’n de Sanchez, a crispy fried chicken sandwich with chile-de-árbol oil, guajillo-chili mayo, avocado, pickled onions, Boston lettuce, and crema.

These two one-day specials will be served until they run out, and Shake Shack will donate $1 from every item purchased to Mujeres Latinas en Acción, an empowerment group for Latinas.
