Ample Hills Launches Limited-Edition Star Wars Ice Cream
Fans of Star Wars and sweets are in for quite a treat.
In anticipation of the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiere on December 15th, Brooklyn-based Ample Hills creamery launched three limited-edition flavors inspired by the heroes, villains, and themes of the iconic film franchise.
Ample Hills collabo’d with Disney and George Lucas’s company, Lucasfilm, to create the specially-designed, Star Wars-themed pints.
Check out the trio of gourmet flavors: “First Order” is a nod to the Dark Side with salted deep dark chocolate ice cream, cocoa powder, bittersweet chocolate, and espresso. “The Resistance” is made with brown sugar and vanilla bean ice cream mixed with red velvet ooey gooey butter cake, toffee, and mini marshmallows, honoring the spirit of the good guys. And “The Force” celebrates the power and beauty of the Jedi with its sweet cream ice cream base, swirls of fudge, and a galaxy of white and dark chocolate pearls.
You can get these specialty flavors in scoops or pints at Ample Hills locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, at Whole Foods, on Fresh Direct, or shipped in a specially-designed box with a punch-out X-Wing fighter from amplehills.com. May the force, and your sweet tooth, be with you.
