Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert Release “Salt & Sin” Chocolate Bar
Chocoholics, take note: culinary megastars Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert have teamed up once again to release a new chocolate bar just in time for the holidays.
In 2012, the IRL BFFs debuted a chocolate bar called “Good & Evil,” which captured the essence of the celebrity chefs’ personalities (with Ripert representing “good” and bad boy Bourdain the “evil”). And now they’re at it again with “Salt & Sin.”
The 2.6-ounce, limited-edition confection, created in collaboration with Éclat Master Chocolatier Christopher Curtin, is 72 percent cacao and made with Fair Trade organic beans. It’s flavored with the “complex notes” of Himalayan sea salt, orange, fennel, and spices—to be as salty and spicy as the dynamic duo. And it’s downright delicious.
“Salt & Sin” would be a perfect holiday gift idea for chocolate lovers and fans of the iconic chefs. Find it online and in Williams-Sonoma stores, or pick up the gift set (including both “Salt & Sin” and “Good & Evil” bars) online at Éclat Chocolate. Bonus: both offer Cyber Monday sales today.
