On his recent trip to the UK, Foodgōd went straight to China Tang, which he claims “has the best Peking duck in London.” We couldn’t agree more.
Originating in Beijing, this authentic Chinese dish features a seasoned and roasted specially-bred duck that has thin, crispy skin and juicy meat, which is often presented whole and sliced table side. The succulent duck is typically eaten with spring onion, cucumbers, and sweet bean or hoisin sauce—all wrapped up in thin pancakes.
And it’s downright delicious.
China Tang showcases their specialty Peking duck three ways: in traditional pancakes, in savory soup, and as the protein in stir-fry.
