Italian Nachos: America’s Most Buzzed About New Dish
This is nacho average plate o’ chips…
Love it or hate it (or just go for the breadsticks), Olive Garden is one of the most often-disputed, yet crazy popular, restaurant chains in the country. But it’s their latest menu offering that’s really making headlines—and causing quite a stir on social.
Putting an Italian-ish twist on classic comfort food, OG recently launched “loaded pasta chips” (basically Italian nachos). The new dish layers homemade fried lasagna pieces with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, hearty meat sauce (a blend of chicken, meatballs, and sausage), cherry peppers, parsley, and Alfredo sauce drizzle.
They actually sound (and look) tasty as hell.
The rumors are true. Guess we can’t hog the Loaded Pasta Chips to ourselves anymore…and yes, they’re delicious. 😋 pic.twitter.com/bDmdLUO4bJ

It’s been about a week since Olive Garden’s unique mashup debuted, and though some diners were admittedly skeptical at first (and others downright disgusted), early word from outlets including Business Insider, Delish, Foodbeast, Fortune, PopSugar, and more include rave reviews.
Based on social media, a majority of people who tried ’em seemed genuinely surprised at how good they actually are.
We love Italian food and we love nachos, so these loaded chips might be worth a try after all.
You can find Olive Garden’s Loaded Pasta Chips on the menu nationwide through April 1st. And if you’re not into it, just get down with the #breadsticks and call it a day.
