The Museum of Ice Cream Will Sweeten Up Miami This December
Miamians, get your sprinkles pool selfie poses ready.
The crazy-popular Museum of Ice Cream has announced it’s next location will be in your sunny city. The interactive installation—part museum, part sensory overload of sweets and sprinkles—will be opening in Miami Beach’s Faena District on December 13th.
The made-for-Instagram sensation has already made a splash in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and we anticipate the South Florida branch having all the same candy-colored draws: a massive pool full of plastic sprinkles, a wall of waffle cones, scented banana split wallpaper, bright pink everywhere, and all the photo ops.
Museum of Ice Cream founder and creative director Maryellis Bunn chose Miami for the chain’s fourth installment in order to “celebrate the city’s diverse and culturally inclusive environment.” And with its consistently warm weather, Miami is the perfect spot to host an ice cream exhibit in the winter.
