Now You Can Create Your Own Edible Cookie Dough at DŌ
Create-your-own cookie dough parties are now a reality.
Since opening its doors one year ago, DŌ has attracted huge lines and media buzz as the first storefront serving raw cookie dough confections. And starting tomorrow, the brand is offering an AcaDŌmy series of baking and dough-making classes at the Greenwich Village hotspot led by DŌ founder-owner Kristen Tomlan.
The course description for “Cookie Dough 101” encourages you to “Make your childhood dreams come true by joining us in our private kitchen for a chance to create your own safe-to-eat cookie dough!”
For $85, you can learn how to make safe-to-eat dough (with heat-treated flour and a special pasteurized egg product) and bake DŌ’s signature cookies. And you’ll take home a souvenir spatula, recipe packet, box of cookies, and two 8-ounce, customized containers of your delicious DIY dough.
Private party packages are also available so you can throw a sweet soiree at the shop.
