Now You Can Sip Coffee With Your Face On It
Sipping on your own self portrait is now a thing.
The Tea Terrace café in London is behind social media’s latest beverage craze: the “selfieccino.” This next-level coffee art features images of customers’ faces printed on the frothy topping of their drinks.
The seflie-topped beverages are made using a high-tech device called the ‘Cino.’ Customers can send their headshots via an online app to the café’s barista and have their likeness printed (using flavorless food coloring) onto the foam over a cappuccino or hot chocolate.
Then, snap and sip away…
Your pups can get in on the action, too!
There’s never been a more personal way to express yo’self while getting your caffeine fix—and the quirky drinks (at $7.50 a pop) are already gaining a ton of traction on social. It won’t be long until coffee shops Stateside pick up on the trend, so you probably won’t have to wait too much longer to post your own coffee foam selfie shot.
