Pumpkin Spice Overload From Starbucks and Krispy Kreme
Pumpkin spice fans, rejoice. Fall is here, and with it comes all the anticipated autumn flavors.
While pumpkin spice mania is reaching epic levels across the country (there’s just no escaping it), Starbucks and Krispy Kreme will add even more offerings to the fall flavor frenzy. The beloved national brands are releasing limited edition treats to tempt die-hard pumpkin spice fans.
Starbucks is responsible for making #PSL a thing. And now the coffee giant is topping their famous pumpkin spice lattes with pumpkin spice whipped cream—but only for a short time. To celebrate 14 years of having the latte on its fall menu, Starbucks will be garnishing PSLs and pumpkin spice frappuccinos with fluffy orange cream (made from pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and nutmeg). Baristas can also add the sweet seasonal topper to any coffee beverage you want to spice up. Available at select US locations starting tomorrow, October 5th, through Sunday, October 8th.
Tapping into their loyal fan base and the pumpkin spice obsessed, Krispy Kreme announced a limited-edition fall release: a Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut. This riff on the original glazed has hints of cinnamon and pumpkin spice flavors. According to a press release, on the first three Fridays of the month—October 6th, 13th, and 20th—the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed (PSOG) doughnut will be available at participating Krispy Kreme shops after 6pm only for their ‘Friday Night Spice’ promotion. Then, on Thursday, October 26, customers can enjoy the treat all day in celebration of National Pumpkin Day.
Two festive new ways to spice up fall. And we’re all for it.
