You heard that right. Baldoria in downtown Los Angeles is turning the classic southern brunch duo—chicken & waffles—into taco form. The casual bar & kitchen in Little Tokyo folds freshly made apple cinnamon waffles around crispy, spiced fried chicken to resemble a taco. Then they dust ’em with powdered sugar and add a generous drizzle of barrel-aged WhistlePig maple syrup. And DTLA’s #brunchgoals-loving crowd can’t get enough.
