World’s First-Ever Nutella Cafe to Open Next Week in Chicago
The cafe of your dreams is about to become a reality. Ferraro, the Italian brand that makes Nutella, is opening a one-of-a-kind shop that celebrates the chocolate-hazelnut spread in all its glory. We’re talking gooey goodness on waffles, croissants, crepes, gelato, and more.
On May 31, the Nutella Cafe will officially open its doors near Chicago’s Millennium Park. Everything inside the shop was inspired by a jar of the sweet spread including the label’s signature red and white colors, dripping chocolate décor on the walls, and hazelnut plant lights hanging from the ceiling.
Nutella lovers (I mean, who isn’t?) can order from a menu of Nutella-smothered baked goods, breakfast specialities, and decadent desserts. There’s also savory, non-Nutella lunch items—like salads, soups, and panini—but we all know why we’re really here.
Bonus for Nutella fans in Chicago: If you’re one of the first 400 people on site for the cafe’s opening (10am on May 31), expect special “surprises,” while supplies last.
